Keely eats anything.

Tue Mar 02, 2010 5:01 pm by julie@manorborn

Our 50/50 girl Keely eats anything, we have to watch her all the time even a banana peeling, what a shocker, she will steal anything, I think she is worse that Bertie.

Collars and name tags

Sun Mar 14, 2010 7:42 am by Elizabeth Axe

What collars do you on your dogs? I still use the nylon thinnish type on Toby and Bertie as when I bought a padded one, Toby didn't like it on at all. In fact both of mine have puppy collars still!

I also wondered whether you take them off at night or in the house? Lately I haven't been but I've read that you should as they might catch and hurt themselves. I haven't because my two lo...

Just bought new crate

Wed Sep 17, 2008 6:00 pm by nicky d

Well, I picked the children up from school today and because the children were a bit down about things that had happened at school, I decided to cheer them up and take them to buy some of the puppy things. Well before I knew it, among toys, fleece mat, finger toothbrush , vet bed etc, I had also bought a crate and spent nearly £200! I don't mind as long as I use it all.

Can you...

Latest proposed dog legislation

Wed Mar 10, 2010 6:02 pm by Elizabeth Axe

I've been watching and reading all of this with interest. This morning I took my dogs out for a short stroll and met two dog owners, they each had two dogs with them. One with two boxers and one with two collies. NONE of the dogs were on a lead. My two were at a disadvantage as they were on a lead if anything had happened.
I just wish they would be some sort of legislation whereby where the...

How time flies!!

It's Winnie's first birthday tomorrow

In some ways it seems like only yesterday that we brought her home for the first time but in other ways I can't imagine our family without her!!

The children have bought her presents and want to give them to her all wrapped up tomorrow - I'll try to remember to film the big event to ...

Changing colour!!

Tue Mar 02, 2010 4:16 pm by karen

Now I know that doodles coats can change colour....Raffi's coat has a fine 'mist' of grey on the chocolate now and Zach is becoming more apricot on his back, but do their noses normally change colour??? Zach had a black nose until fairly recently, ...it is now turning slightly pink!!! We don't mind at all, but it does look a little strange!!
