Since Carries arrival poor old Gus has been really hen-pecked she is certainly a force to be reckoned with he actually looks it sometimes with that hang dog expression sort of a "Help me Mum"

Yes I think you are right we have to be careful to give him some time alone with us, we take him for long walks to compensate as Carries exercise is very restricted

I understand completely Sue, substitute Bertie's name for Carries and Toby's for Gus and hey presto!!!

It will do Gus good actually Sue to have someone else around that gets some attention! Also if Carrie oversteps the mark I am sure that Gus may put her in her place a bit too and I think this will help Carrie in the long run! It's a case of adjusting on everyone's part, but you will all be the 'richer' for the extra set of paws in the home!!

To be honest they are doing fine, Carrie is still the boss quite a feisty little madam with poor old Gussie but he does end up pinning her down when she gets "over the top" at the moment they are very boisterus so as soon as the game starts we put them in the garden as it can get quite mad in fact they have just knocked a cup of tea over me so not very impressed - hey ho
