Patchy eyes

Patchy eyes
Minnie has lost some of the fur from underneath her eyes. Whilst she was recovering from kennel cough and to keep away from other dogs she happily played in a bean field at the back of my parent's house. Do you think she has had a reaction to the beans or that her running through them has caused the fur to fall-out? She had a similar patch, but much smaller a few months ago - I thought the nick was a tooth mark from playing with other puppies. Or do you think she is allergic to something? I have just changed her diet to the James Wellbeloved dry which is hypoallergic which might help if it is. The vet doesn't seem to be bothered by it as it's not inflammed or itchy. Has anyone else had a similar experience?

Oh dear Minnie been through the wars lately. It might just be a reaction to a scratch like you thought, or maybe to the antibiotics? Any way hope it clears up soon

Poor Minnie. If it's not inflamed or itchy then the chances are it's nothing serious - keep up the cod liver oil and maybe introduce some Malt Extract. The Neem Oil is very good for patches of dry hairless skin and encourages hair to grow back quickly - but it depends on how close to her eyes it is - it wouldn't be good to get the neem in her eyes.
